British Association of Newborn Photographers

You can now find me listed in the Members Directory on the British Association of Newborn Photographers

Newborn Safety is hugely important and I have participated in several training and development course to ensure I work in a safe manner.

There are many complex newborn poses which can not be achieved by the baby alone. For these images a series of photographs are taken and then merge together to give the illusion. Here is an example where the supporting arm has been edited out of the shot.

In the photos where a baby appears to be hanging from a branch in the air. The baby is actually only a few inches above a beanbag held and supported by parents. A separate shot would be taken of the sling hanging from the branch weighted down. These photos would then me merged and further editing done to complete the image to give it the illusion. These poses take time and skill to ensure the baby is safe at all times.

Wedding Photographer - 2nd Shooting at Wedding - Couples Shoot

I have the pleasure of second shooting at a wedding in June with the very talented Emma from Oscar & Rose Photography. Today I went to met the Bride & Groom to be Abi & Ant. Their plans sound fantastic and it will be an amazing day. Really looking forward to it, has a very vintage theme and Abi has made all the bridesmaid dresses. The wedding is at Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens in Northampton.
